WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF WATER DAMAGE?

  1. Disconnect the water supply – if necessary, turn off the main water tap.
  2. As a precaution, turn off the power in the affected area.
  3. Remove superficial water. In the event of large quantities of water, alert the fire department to pump out the water.
  4. Remove endangered furniture from the affected area.
  5. Document the damage by photographing it and listing the items affected.
