heaterSteam humidifiers with electric heating elements can be operated with normal tap water or de-mineralized water. Depending on the model they generate 2 to 60 kg steam per hour. They are suitable for use as direct or channel humidification and are used where humidity has to be very accurately controlled (museums, laboratories, clean rooms etc.), water quality is not constant or problematic or periodic maintenance is to be limited (supply with de-mineralized water).
The full version of the units includes thermally insulated cylinders for maximum energy saving and coated heating elements for easy removal of lime deposits.
The following control systems are available:
C control with ON/OFF control. The unit with this control always operates with maximum steam production. It turns on and off in order to reach the pre-set nominal capacity of 30, 50, 75 or 100%.
H control with integrated humidistat: units with this control can be configured for different controls at any time:
- ON/OFF with external humidistat
- proportional to external signal
- infinitely variable based on the measurements of an external humidistat
- infinitely variable based on the measurements of an external humidistat and a limit sensor in the air channel.
