The Blueair free-standing units are equipped with the patented, highly efficient HEPASilent™ filter technology. The ultra-silent ventilator draws dirty air. Dirt particles are electrically charged in the ionization chamber in order to collect and retain even very small and harmful particles in the 3-stage high tech filter system. The first stage collects the larger particles such as pollen and dust. The second and third stages filter out cigarette smoke, musty smells and exhaust gases from the air.
One of the most convincing features of the Blueair 500/600 serie is the Blueair SurroundAir™ system. This system distributes the clean air efficiently and draught-free into the room from three sides and without causing a strong current of air.
These units are particularly suited for private rooms and offices to remove odors, pollen, dust etc. In rooms where cigarette smoke is present we recommend the use of the Smoke Stop filter with activated carbon.
